Reading Quran and reflecting over the Quran Is our Duty.

Upon fulfilling this obligation, the Quran then becomes a proof for him on the Day of Judgment! And that is our second benefit we will take by embracing this Noble Book.

Reading quran and exploring it is the true duty of a Muslim because it contains Allah’s message to all people and the quran teaching tells the people that how to act correctly. It is the Book of Allah also talks about life after death. It tells us that Allah has prepared Paradise for good people and Hell for bad people. While reading Quran we see that it encourages the worship of only one God Who creates and provides for them. The Book forbids people from evil and condemns those who do wrong. Learn Holy Quran because it will be a proof for us muslim on the Day of Judgment.

This is due to the statement of the Messenger: “And the Quran is a proof for you or against you.” [Muslim] so the duty of every Muslim is to read quran and learn quran with tajweed so one of two things will occur with this proof, the Book of Allah. And this quran education will be in your favor, a proof for us on the Day when we will need every single good deed and learning quran along with doing quran memorization is one of it and to add more spread the quran teaching and spread the kids quran knowledge and listening to quran online and understand the quran tafseer , it will be something standing against us and follow the guidance of or Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and these good deeds will be a proof against us! Are you neglecting it, contradicting it, being heedless of its orders and prohibitions, are you thinking deeply over it?! Will it be on your side on the Day of Judgment.? So learn quran recitation! O Allah! We ask you, by Your Glorious Speech and the rest of your beautiful Names and Attributes, to make the Quran a proof for us! So the Quran tutor should let his student know about these facts also.

Pakistan's singing pride Mehdi Hassan passes away

Pakistan's legendary classical singer Mehdi Hassan, who captivated millions of music fans across South Asia, died on Wednesday after a long illness, his family said. He was 84.

Hassan, known as Shahenshah-e-Ghazal, or the king of classical singing among Urdu speakers across the world, died in a private hospital in Karachi.

His son Asif told reporters outside the hospital that his father had been suffering from multiple lung, chest and urinary tract conditions.

Mehdi Hassan was born in 1927 in a village called Luna in Rajasthan‚ undivided India in a family of traditional musicians. He had his musical grooming from his father Ustad Azeem Khan and uncle Ustad Ismail Khan who were both traditional Dhrupad singers.

After the independence‚ 20 years old Mehdi Hassan and his family migrated to Pakistan and settled in Cheecha Watni‚ district Sahiwal.

Mehdi Hassan was given an opportunity to sing on Radio Pakistan in 1957‚ primarily as a thumri singer‚ which earned him recognition within the musical fraternity. At that time‚ Mehdi Hassan also had a passion for Urdu poetry and began to experiment by singing ghazals on part-time basis.

Mehdi Hassan ruled Pakistani film industry for a long time. 1962 was a lucky year for him when his three songs were a hit. His all time hit Ghazal Gullon mein rang bharay... in film Farangi in 1964 gave him breakthrough as playback singer. His peak period was in the 1970s.

Following a severe illness in the late 80s‚ Mehdi Hassan stepped down from playback singing. Later due to severity of his illness he completely departed from music.

Mehdi Hassan received numerous awards and recognitions. These include the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz ; the Pride of Performance ; and the Hilal-i-Imtiaz . Besides Nigar Film and Graduate Awards from Pakistan‚ he was recipient of the Saigal Award in Jalandhar‚ India‚ in 1979 and the Gorkha Dakshina Bahu Award in Nepal in 1983.

Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani expressed his condolences, calling Hassan "an icon who mesmerised music lovers" in Pakistan and the sub-continent for decades.

Indian singing legend Lata Mangeshkar told a private TV channel  that his death was a "big loss".

Hassan also won awards and accolades in India and Nepal, as well as Pakistan.He was born in India and migrated to Pakistan after partition and independence from British rule in 1947.

I take oath on Quran I never received a penny from Malik Riaz: Imran

Brushing aside allegations of receiving money from real estate tycoon Malik Riaz, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said;  I take oath on Quran I never get even a penny from Malik Riaz. Imran Khan categorically denied that any of his party member had taken money, reasoning if it happened he must have known that. The cricketer-turned politician said he would not let the judiciary to be toppled. He said a politician, sitting in Rawalpindi, should be ashamed of leveling baseless allegations. Imran Khan further said President Asif Ali Zardari had appointed Husain Haqqani as ambassador to US and he was also involved in the memo conspiracy. The PTI chief also spoke against war against terror, saying no issue could be resolved through war. Imran Khan said that he will stand by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He said that conspiracies against the apex court were being hatched for the last few years. Imran Khan’s statement comes a day after property tycoon Malik Riaz levelled serious allegations against Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. Political analysts say the allegations against the country’s top judge are the part of a conspiracy to maintain status quo. Moreover, lawyers fraternity have condemned the allegations leveled by Malik Riaz against Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry in a press conference on Tuesday. In separate meetings Islamabad High Court Bar Association and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Association expressed solidarity with the chief justice and pledged to launch a movement against those who are conspiring against the Supreme Court.

US drone strike kills three militants in NWaziristan: officials

A US drone attack in Pakistan's northwestern tribal region near the Afghan border killed three insurgents on Wednesday, security officials said. "The drone fired two missiles on a vehicle and initial reports said three militants were killed," a security official said. The vehicle was hit in Isha village, about 10 kilometres (six miles) east of Miranshah, two other security officials said. Miranshah is the main town in North Waziristan, a known Taliban and Al-Qaeda stronghold. There has been a dramatic increase in US drone strikes in Pakistan since a NATO summit in Chicago ended last month without a deal to end a six-month blockade on NATO supplies crossing into Afghanistan. A drone attack killed 15 militants in North Waziristan on June 4. The dead included senior Al-Qaeda figure Abu Yahya al-Libi. It was not immediately known if there were any high-value targets killed in the latest strike.

SC issues show-cause notice to Malik Riaz

After taking suo motu notice of the press conference organized by Bahria Town boss Malik Riaz Supreme Court of Pakistan Wednesday issued show cause notice to the real estate tycoon over his rant. Heading the three-member bench hearing the suo motu case, Justice Shakirullah Jan read out the draft of the real estate tycoon’s press conference. The bench issued show-cause notice to Malik Riaz for conducting a press conference with derogatory remarks directed against the judiciary. The court adjourned the hearing till today (Thursday). Earlier, the informal full court session summoned by the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry, solicited the record consisting of draft (transliteration) and footage of Riaz’s press conference. Later on after discussing the repercussions of the press conference, the apex court constituted a three-member bench to hear the suo motu case against Malik Riaz. It should be mentioned here that Malik Riaz leveled charges against Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry’s son Arsalan of receiving bribes and foreign trips’ sponsorships from him. However, Arsalan denied the charges and in a previous hearing before a two-member bench, pleaded the court to issue arrest orders of Malik Riaz.
