She may only be a mere slip of a thing at the tender age of 10, but already Willow Smith is moving in political circles.

President Barack Obama's, to be precise, who invited the young chart star to take part in this year's Easter celebrations at the White House.

Willow was among the line-up of artists who performed at the Presidential home in Washington D.C yesterday as part of the annual festivities.

And her famous family  - father Will, mother Jada Pinkett and brother Jaden - were right by her side to show their support.

If she was nervous about it in any way, she certainly didn't show it as she and the Smith clan left the White yesterday morning after her morning soundcheck.

She seemed relaxed as she hugged and kissed a friend outside before heading off to her hotel to get ready for the afternoon celebrations.

Actor father Will, 42, flashed a peace sign for the camera as her brother Jaden just smiled, while mother Jada gave her best grin as she climbed into a waiting car.

Willow, who is best known for her hit song Whip My Hair, was just one of the performers asked by President Obama and his wife Michelle to perform at the 133rd annual event held on the South Lawn.

Country and folk singer Colbie Caillat was also on the bill and she kicked off proceedings by singing the National Anthem.

This year's theme was Get Up and Go, and was hosted by morning TV presenters Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, who read to the thousands of children lucky enough to be invited to take part in the annual egg hunt.

About 14,500 hard-boiled eggs, that are all dyed, will be used for the egg roll and hunt, while an additional 83,000 eggs made from American wood were given to guests.
